Pelandaba Safaris runs and operates Sengwe 1 hunting concession in the South East Zimbabwe. The hunting area is what is known as a campfire hunting area whereby all hunting takes place on communal lands. Benefits go directly to the community who need the revenue most.

 

 

Camp is set on the Limpopo River on the Southern most border of Zimbabwe and the Northern border of South Africa. Sengwe 1 is strategically placed between Gonarezhou National Park (meaning place of many elephant) and Kruger National Park helping to ensure that the area produces some of the best buffalo and elephant trophies available.

 

 

 

The area is known for its outstanding Elephant, Buffalo, Kudu, Nyala as well as huge Leopard and Lion (Leopard and Lion are available from end of August). The area offers hunters the rare opportunity at a shot at some of the truly big trophies, from 90 plus pounder elephant, buffalo of 46”  and 63” Kudu. The camp itself has been built on  an old Elephant migration route and it is not unfamiliar for elephant to walk right through camp!
