Your safari will be tailored made to suite your specific needs and requirements and the utmost attention to detail will be paid at all stages to ensure a successful safari.
There are a couple of guidelines that we suggest you follow beforehand: · Get fit by walking long distances with a back pack of similar weight to what your hunting gear would weigh. Do all the walking in the shoes that you plan to use on your hunt, DO NOT go on a safari with a new pair of shoes. There is nothing that can spoil a safari quicker than a bad case of blisters. · Practise your shooting skills. Rather stand and use similar shooting sticks to what you will be using in the bush rather than shooting off the bench. Also practise shooting from various field positions. Shots will seldom be over 50 yards and it is advisable to practise from 15—50 yards · Study up on shot placement, there are many good shot placement guides out there that will help you. But remember that at the end of the day the animals you are hunting will seldom stand in the same position as in the guides. These are a good study aid to help you learn about the anatomy of the animal you are planning on hunting. · Practise on realistic targets and where you bullet needs to be placed for a clean and effective kill.
